After having introduced the new €5 banknote in May 2013, the European Central Bank (ECB) has now announced the release date of the new
€10 banknote. Alongside the aesthetic changes this new €10 banknote will also feature some new and improved security features.
The new €10 banknote will be brought into circulation on September 23rd 2014. The other denominations from the new Europe Series, including the €20, €50 and €100 will gradually be introduced over the next few years.
